Mental Health

According to official data from the World Health Organization, as a result of the full-scale war every fifth person in Ukraine is at risk of developing mental illnesses such as depression and post-traumatic stress
disorder (PTSD).

Every day, starting from February 24, 2022, the number of Ukrainian citizens affected by military, aggressive and violent actions is increasing. Against the background of constant threats to life and receiving physical injuries, especially during their stay in the war zone and in the occupied territories, many Ukrainians experience psychological trauma arising from the loss of loved ones, permanent residence and personal property, work and stable income, forced resettlement and lack of other conditions for a normal life.

Against the background of stable socio-psychological maladjustment, PTSD can become chronic in a significant number of people. Among them are children, women and military personnel. Therefore, the staff of the Humanitarian Foundation “Victoria Projects” developed a number of psychological rehabilitation programs within the “Mental Health” project. They cover both individual and group sessions and classes of psychologists with each individual category of people.

Contact the representative offices of HF “Victoria Projects” and directly to the coordinator of the “Mental Health” project to receive free help from professional psychologists for your mental balance and further peaceful life!
